The Wedding Booking Process

    Fill out the inquiry form.

    Say hi and introduce yourself! Share more about your beautiful wedding day that you and your fiancé are working so hard to plan.

    Let’s set up a quick phone call consultation before you book.

    This is typically a 10+ minute call and allows you to ask me all your questions so you can feel 100% confident in your decision.

    Are you definitely ready to move forward in the booking process?

    Great, let’s get your official wedding day package approved.

    Time to sign your contract and pay your retainer!

    Let’s celebrate and mark one more thing off that long todo list!

    Now that you are offically booked, I will send over my list of recommended vendors, just in case you’re still looking to build the perfect vendor team!

    Let’s get that engagement session scheduled! It’s never too early to book during your ideal season.

    About 5 weeks prior to your wedding day, we will schedule our timeline consultation meeting.

 FAQ

  • Payments for wedding packages are made via check! This ensures I can keep my package prices as low as possible.

    You will have 3 payments (retainer, payment #2 and payment #3). Payment due dates are stated before you even sign your contract!

  • You will receive 50-100 photos per hour. Each wedding day is different so it is way too hard to nail down an exact number of pictures per hour. Also, I will never withhold any additional useable photos from you!

    The turnaround time for a wedding gallery is 8 weeks from your wedding date.

  • Aka- the unedited photos.

    I only provided the edited photos to my clients. I can assure you that you do not want the unedited photos. They are not the finished product of my work.

  • I protect everyone’s photos by doing multiple things.

    -I shoot your wedding on two SD/CF cards. Meaning there are two copies of your photos.

    -I immediately back up your photos to two harddrives.

    -I store your SD/CF cards + 1 harddrive in a firesafe box, while I edit off of the second harddrive.

“My husband and I had an intimate, private wedding ceremony in Pittsburgh and wanted to have a mini photoshoot directly after to capture the love of that day. I found Mia and after looking at her Instagram I knew she was the right fit! Mia asked if I had any inspiration photos and I sent her a few Pinterest shots that captured the vibes we were going for. She did such an amazing job of directing us during the shoot and she had some amazing pose ideas for us to do throughout the space! She made us feel so comfortable and let our personalities shine through! She also brought a mini Polaroid camera and took some photos with it so that we had something physical to take home that day, which was the sweetest touch! She then sent us a sneak preview that same day with a few shots that were gorgeous! When we received the final album we were blown away. They are exactly what we had dreamed of, and even more. I couldn’t recommend Mia enough and we will be sure to book her again in the future for any special occasions!”
